Yes, he did just do that.....



I came home to my husband painting this beauty on our propane tank Friday evening.  Our propane tank is visable from the road.  Yes, we are the neighbors you might hate....unless you have Jay's strong outspokeness towards politics.  In Jay's words "things are getting serious now so this is my contribution to the Romney/Ryan campaign."  I told him it must be painted over on November 7th!  What do you want to bet that it is too wet/cold for the next several months and I have to look at this every day until this spring.  When I asked him why he did it he said "I told you I was going to."  Yes, I vaguely remembered that conversation but I thought we came to a clear decision that it was a No! 

This is probably my payback for the Huckabee bumber sticker incident of 2007.  Jay, who was a huge supporter, actually contributed $20.08 to Mike's campaign.  Jay felt the need to explain why it was $20.08 - which I told him I got it.  For his contribution he got a bumper sticker.  I hate all bumper stickers.  I don't care who you support or what you support I think every last one of them is tacky and I refuse to put them on my vehicle. Or any vehicle that my name is on the title and I pay for every month for that matter.    Jay had just got his red truck and I told him NO on the bumper sticker.  We compromised and he put it on his tool box.  Five years later it is still on his toolbox - once you put those things down they never come off!  I just hope this doesn't live that long....but I have a feeling it will.....

Clearly one of those times I have to laugh and move on....
